Mary C. Genser

Written by Mary C. Genser and illustrated by Julia Spellman, Do You Remember? is a treasure for those afflicted with memory loss and their families.  Mary experienced this with a family member who had Alzheimer’s Disease, and wanted to find a better way to communicate. She has worked in health care as a physical therapist since 1996, helping others benefit from exercise and physical activity. Mary loves living in Colorado and participates in year-around outdoor activities.  An avid reader, mary grew up with books.  “My father took us to the library every weekend,” she says. He gave me the gift of reading.

Mary hopes that through sharing Do You Remember? she can give the gift of memories to the memory-impaired and their families. Intended for the memory-impaired and their families with captioned original illustrations describing moments from everyday life from early childhood through late adulthood. Space for dedication and personal photos make this an interactive reading experience.
